No more wheel space, and wouldn't help wheel pilot, or Cape Horn steering if I go with it one day and tie it in with the quadrant. I think they recommend using a separate quadrant/lever but with an aft cabin, there's a lot of living space around the rudder post, which limits steering add-ons.
