• Adding a vent to a hatch
  • I did it with a Nicro vent in the prior boat
    • Hatches are like that.
  • WHy not a battery model? Geez, they work well in my experience.
    • My solar vent works rather well...

      • Vent mounted hatch, day/night or passive works fine.
  • I remember the same problem. There's a lot to be said for cowl vents and dorade boxes.
    • Sometimes -- Cowls in heavy winds, rain, and/or seas provide enormous amount so water too ;^)
      • Yes, our forward one has shipped some water.
        • I agree that, when box below the dorade works, they're great...
          • I guess we're lucky in our design.
      • Not if they're designed right...
        • When conditions warrant, you really want to be able to seal a dorade completely...
