I've got a multimeter, moisture meter, electronic thermometer, line tracer and a couple of other small electronic gadgets that are on the boat all the time. I have never had a problem with corrosion from being on the boat.

Battery corrosion is another thing. The batteries are never in them until they're used. When I'm done I take the batteries out. Don't like putting things in plastic bags as they also keep the moisture in.
