but I couldn't bring myself to spend $369 for one. I googled around and ordered an Amprobe ACDC-100 AC/DC Digital Clamp-on Multimeter for $115 from Amazon.com. This one has probes. Others may have as well but the descriptions didn't specify.

I think the clamp on will be very useful as I sort out what wires go to what in the area under my helm station. It's a rat's next in there. With the clamp on feature, I'll be able to flip on one switch at a time and see what's hot. I wanted the probes to be able to check polarity. This one has both.
