So now I have 3 cheap meters, and one good one... I only break out the good one when and if I need to do some precision measurement or use some feature that the cheap meters don't have (such as "hold" or "temp probe").
I throw the cheap meters around and basically don't worry about abusing them... after all, they were cheap.
I even have an analog meter... for those times when a swing of the needle is all I need. Sure, it would be nice to own a Simpson 260 for those "special moments..." But they are too far and few between.
