I haven't dropped one overboard either and at $350 bucks a pop I hope I never do. I've been around electricity all of my life. My dad worked for the power company from the time I was born and I retired from the same company after 36 years so I've used quite a few meters in my life. A good meter just makes the job go faster with less effort. It's like using a Proto wrench rather then a Craftsman or even worse, one from the 99 cent table. $369.00 is a bunch of money so I might even go with the 115 dollar Amprobe that was mentioned now that I'm retired but not a cheapie $25.00 one. I'll pass up dinner for a few weeks before I do that. Come to think of it, I ought to do that anyway.
