NOAA makes it easy to see it develop.

I can see southern sailors beginning to look for hurricane holes on the web. Hopefully it will veer east for everyone down in that area.

Coastal weather reports are beginning to up the wind forecasts into southern New England. Wave predictions too in front of the potential path.

It's not looking good for our plans that may have put us in that area by the weekend. I don't like that kind of race.

But you never know, there's still a little time left for it to start heading more easterly. It could be soggy up this way by the beginning of the week. Then again, Irene could go offshore a bit, and then, make a beeline for Maine, or maybe your coast.
