Awlgrip/Alexseal

Larry, We had both of my boats professionally painted. One with Alexseal, the other with Awlgrip. Both have held up well, are about the same $, and both "touch up" well. Both are very hard paints, resistant to dings etc. The yard here in Buffalo (fresh water environment) uses Alexseal, and Hinckley(salt water) still recommends Awlgrip, as they did not like the way that Alexseal held up for the long term. Our Freedom 21 had both topsides, deck/cabin house done with Alexseal. We are going to re-do the Hinckley topsides next year, with Awlgrip per the Hinckley yard. if you like the garbage truck green thing, check out Awlgrips' darkest green...the hull will seem to change color from black to green and back, depending on the ambient light, and viewing angle. Here's the Freedom...
