now has four hard years on it, including thousands of hi-way miles, a trip to the Bahamas, and a winter on the gulf coast. The paint still looks good and has held up well, retaining it's gloss through abrasive encounters with pilings, other boats, etc. All that said, however, I will probably go with Imron next time (hopefully another four years down the road at least) due to cost considerations and the fact that there are a number of Imron "shooters" in our area and only one who will attempt Awlgrip, which is very tricky to get right in our high, dry, climate. I have some experience with Imron and properly applied it rivals Awlgrip for looks but does not wear quite as well over the long term in my opinion.
