...and am pleased, so far... Only been about a year, however, so I have no comment re long-term durability...
I chose it because mine was a DIY job, and I'd been advised that Alexseal was quite a bit more forgiving for an amateur to work with, and a bit easier to repair than Awlgrip... Sounds like it's definitely made inroads into the megayacht market, largely for that reason...
But since you're having a pro do yours, you'll probably wind up going with whatever they're most comfortable with... There's a significant learning curve in using these paints, and I suspect a lot of pros are still favoring Awlgrip, simply because of their familiarity with it...
