Anchored to a rope and chain rode, the relatively high bow with the cut away forefoot keel made a pretty good sail. Now that we use an all chain rode she's much better behaved. As for the question of storm preparation, we went ahead and stripped down the boat just for peace of mind. I figure a couple hours work each way, no big deal.
