At first we made fun of some of the road conditions. After seeing a banana plant stuffed in a major pot hole to mark it we realized that the locals did too. In my favorite towns of Manzanillo and Dominical coconuts were used to fill pot holes in the dirt main streets. I had fun packing them down with the truck we rented.
