It is a quiet Cuttyhunk.

Some talk that Irene and company have put an early close on the season. A few boats in here this am, mostly southern NE boats returning home I guess. Snug in here despite strong northerlies blowing overhead. We'll be roaming the beaches today to see Katias work. Impressive white plumes exploding beyond the dunes on the east side of the inlet this morning.

We called Menemsha with the idea of getting a mooring there maybe tomorrow, and were told "no problem".

Feels like we have the Cape to ourselves, that's a nice change.
