I did see you over there Tom....

would have come a visitin' but the weather was a bit inclement. We had a good wander all over the island yesterday, today off to Newport to find water, fuel, laundry, and friends arriving from California tomorrow.

When we came in, we were not quite all alone over there on the mooring, but it kind of filled in around us as the afternoon wore on - including the sport fisherman, generator running all evening. Shoulda guessed. The next moorings down towards town indicated 6.5 feet on the sounder - don't know if that was grass or mud. I was a little afraid to go up where you were drawing 6.5 as we do. That light blue hulled Valiant "Wildrose" that pulled in this morning was the guy who ran his Honda all evening over at Vineyard Haven. Its actually quieter here in Newport than it was there!

We really liked Cuttyhunk, even though it is pretty much closed for the season now. Off to Block Island next, then Montauk.
