I like it too -- but leaving it at a dinghy dock would give me pause
Charging could be done while motoring, or with my YamaHonda generator 
But unless someone thinks of a good way to secure it (including battery) it seems to me it would be almost as inviting to casual thieves as leaving an iPad or camera bag on your dinghy seat.
