and slack water. Eph Shoal is divided in TWO with a small channel between. Go between Eph's two humps and then between the single hump portion of Eph and the actual POINT of Cape May ... its not a straight course but if you have a chartplotter (I have Garmin with latest firmware, etc.) you can figure it out quite well and just follow about 10-20ft. depth all the way. This pass will take you QUITE close to the beach, at the point and jetties at point. I went through there a few days after Hurricane Irene and only noted a slight 'fill' to this pass on the ocean side of the the 'point'. If its benign and slack, just take your time and watch your depthsounder and 'hunt' the bottom side to side to insure you're in the 'channel'. Youll save 1-2 hrs instead of going all the way 'out and around' Prissy Wicks, etc. etc. etc. and all the way to the 'ship channel'.
