I would like to take out my opening ports and refinish them this winter and am looking at options. They are painted aluminum and the paint is peeling, bubbling and otherwise falling off. A real mess. There is a local shop that does small batch powdercoating and I'm curious about how it would hold up. Anyone with any experience with this? Otherwise, painting with 2-part poly (Perfection) is my other likely option. I don't know if anyone anodizes alloy around here and wonder is my stuff may have a little to much "patina" from 30+ years of boatlife to look OK after anyways. Thanks, David
