It's been a while since I've crawled back to visit the spare anchors. Yes it was an FX-23 not a FX-37. Now all I need is a dedicated rode. My 3/4" spare rode with long chain is a bit much for normal conditions.

Tom Keffer also reported to me this morning that he used an FX-23 for his stern anchor on his Malo 42 over a period of years and many adventures. It never let him down.
