We have a smaller one hanging on the stern, with 25' of chain and 150' of rode. Only used it once in the Sea ...but when you need it you need it! Like Steve says, you will be anchoring in sand most everywhere down there. You are going to love the Sea of Cortez - we hope to see you and Steve down there at some point
