Spent some time with them in the Swimming Pool in the San Blas in 2010. It's emotionally difficult when you hear this stuff. This is the second time a cruising friend has passed from life this year while cruising. The last one was Don North just a few months ago. A San Blas regular.

Sad indeed,, although we didn't know Rob and Jan that well we are all in the 'same boat' so to speak. It could happen to any of us. It's pause for thought and to reflect on how lucky we are to do what we do and also how much we are in harms way with the life we live.

Here's to you Jan! Hope your future travels and excitement for adventure continue. (If there are any.)
