I wouldn't have one.

Never liked in mast furling mains. Had one that hung up on the way from Rum Cay to the D.R. in 35 knots. I had to cut the out haul, go to the mast and wrap a spinnaker halyard around the mast and main abut 10 times from top to bottom. All this at 11:00 at night. It looked like hell with the main wrapped around the mast like that but I couldn't get it in and I couldn't get it down. It's the only thing I could do.

The only way I know to make sure the main will furl is to have one that just drops. It's the only kind I will have. Don't know if it was a problem for them but I know when mine did that it was really unpleasant.

We're selling our boat and some comment on the fact that it's not a furling main because it's the kind they want. I go through my story but they just don't understand.
