4 Amp at each solar high noon, that is what I would expect.
1.5 Amp to the Battery is not what I would expect.
13.25 from battery to solar this tell me that the panel should be putting max amp if sun is good.
So you have solar wired to wind gen and from there to amp meter then to the battery - No controller or anything else, just the output from each to the amp meter??????
Where is the 6.5 amp going if not thru the amp meter? 8 amp -1.5 amp = 6.5 amp.
When you say you turn off wind, I am thinking that you stop it from turning not turning off a switch, I would disconnect the wire from the wind and only have the panel connected to amp meter, to see if it show 8 amp to battery. if not the I would check meter with another meter if Ok then Check wiring. I am still looking for that 6.5 amp. It mite only be 5 amp but should be a lot more then 1.5 amp into a 13.25 volt battery.
Note: both panel and wind should have blocking diodes or would discharge battery when they are not working, so what you have wired should be OK., but I would take things out of the circuit to trouble shoot.
