And cholesterol below 125 overall. Go figure. There's something to the heredity and cholesterol correlation.
On the other hand, the lowest dose of Lipitor and a better diet is helping husband David. Hopefully we can control it with diet alone within the year.
So he's just disgusted when we have breakfast with my 90 year old Dad....

- What DDW wrote is true -- there is only weak correlation between cholesterol levels and coronary disease
- Even with familiar cholersterolemia, the benefit of statin is NOT a reduction in cholesterol...
- And that's really it....cholesterol/trigs AND family history are important to consider.
