I'm expecting to find a fairly clean tank. Plus I'm installing a polishing system, need to add an independent 2nd pick-up tube inside the tank, will need to drill into the top of the tank. If I'm going to have it all apart, the inspection plate off, and re-seal it again ... it would be good to clean the tank and start with pristine, clean diesel. I just can't figure out how to inexpensively handle the 45 gallons of fuel in the tank ... I think it'll come down to borrowing jerry cans from people I've never seen before. Thanks, cheers, John
