Maybe if I changed them more often, I could do it in 5 minutes.

But it takes quite a bit longer and I often do both at that time. I do keep one spare of each at all times nearby, I have over several decades lost power due to dirty filters(mostly on last boat cruising).
I sort of expect the engine to quit at at all times and get nervous anytime(new filters or not) I'm in a situation when I'm relying totally on it for safety.
