New Years is the other big day for fish markets.

() In ours, Xmas and New Years were the biggest of the whole season. If you want seafood for Xmas, you should reserve it now.
Lobster isn't the main course for Xmas, it's just the,.... Maine course for us. 
They add a nice festive bright color to things as well as some local fare. We'll also add some local oysters on the half shell for fun. Xmas is all cooking and eating for us.

- Mostly we get lobster tails from Australia 'round here at ten to twenty bucks a pound.....
