Somewhat analogous to that is Dungeness Crab, the best there is.

We get Dungeness in season for around five to six bucks a pound in the round. Picked crab meat, however, is typically 28 bucks a pound. King and Snow and Blue, none of them I've eaten can hold a candle to Dungeness.
