I guess I wasn't clear in my comments above er treatment. I am alive today because I have health insurance that paid for physicals. Had I not had insurance, my prostate cancer would have gone undetected. There must be universal, affordable health care for everyone. In time, this will reduce health care cost. People shouldn't be at increased risk because they lose their job. Without universal health care, people are forced to use emergency rooms in place of routine doctors visits.
