Why Not?
In Response To: What??? ()

My plan is to retire early at 60. Sell out and buy the boat. Live on it in Kemah making sure I know everything I need to know (without being too anal)about the boat, doing some shakedowns, upgrading what I need, and heading out. I do not buy into the idea that the boat has to be perfect. It never will be. There will always be work that needs to be done, things that need attention, something that needs to be fixed. Everyone I know that is out seems to be doing maintanence and upgrades. Why do I want to sit at the dock doing what I can do on a cruise. As far as medical, well they have doctors all around the world. How long does it take to set up an email account, mail forwarding account, etc. That cannot take that long. You guys sound like it is a lot of work! Almost like it is not worth it. Besides, most of that can be done ahead of time. Am I that naive (stupid)?
