As far as viny removal, I have used the hair dryer, vilny scraper method but then one of the club members who does vinyl for a living told me to go to an autobody supply and get a "pinstripe removing wheel". Basically a 3M product, looks like a wheel made out of gum erasor material. Chuck that into a drill motor and it rubs the vinyl and adhesive right off. Note: Follow the reccomened RPM on the wheel you buy so it doesn't get too hot.
