I had installed a new large Crosby eye-eye swivel between the pennants and the chain the previous week. I had just left the boat for the evening after pulling the swivel out of the water and checking it. When I got home 15 minutes later, there was a message on the answering machine from the marina telling me they had my boat. Luckily, it was a dead calm evening and the boat was just floating about when they went out with a workboat and secured it.

The bolt on the swivel holding the two eyes was sheared right in half. And yes, it was a 3/4" genuine Crosby.
