We keep a list posted on the wall, priorities to bring should you have to take to the life raft. One is a Jerry jug of water which we only fill 2/3 full so it floats. An important item for your ditch bag is a hand held VHF. Steve Callahan saw several ships but they never saw him during his 76 days adrift; he said he could have radiod them had he had a VHF. Also would be nice to have for communication during any rescue processe.
