We tend to forget about the mosquitos

We look back at the great times we've had on the ICW and quite often forget about the mosquitos. Then as we bring back the memories it all comes back. If it isn't the mosquitos it's the Deer Flies. If either of them haven't made our lives miserable the no-seeum's do. For some reason they all like to feast on the Admiral.

We took the dingy into the bay at Marathon last May and as we were motoring back to the boat around sunset they hit. Thousands!! We had no choice but to floor it and zip out of the harbor at full speed breaking all the laws. When we got to the boat she was a mess. Must have had a hundred bites all over her body that made her miserable for almost a week. I wasn't too bad, they don't like me as much.
