I like the LEHR product. They are still working on some things that I asked for (like replacement impellers, waterpump kits, props, etc....) The motors are made for them (not by them) and I suspect I know which Chinese company is doing the construction [sorry, not at liberty to discuss, but it is not Parsun, which would turn me off from the line]. Defender will be stocking the LEHR propane powered outboard line when the product becomes available.

My first impression of the motor I saw, was that there are some minor things I would change about it, but it looked good to me.

I am not a big fan of their proposed MAP price policy (or any MAP policy for that matter). But, it is simply their approach to market.
