What little ice we had is gone. I stopped down yesterday just to check on things, the yard was suprisingly busy although all the winter covers are still, it was toasty warm under the shrink wrap. The trees are budding and I suspect we will have leaves in a few days. The word is that the ice dam put in place at the East end of the lake to keep the ice from fouling the Niagra Falls turbines was removed a couple of weeks ago, the earliest on record.

That is Presque Isle Bay on the other side of our North wall, Presque Isle State Park beyond that and then Lake Erie.
