Out of the box idea..

Greg here (met ya in La Paz some time back).
A thought out of the box. You might be able to order the charts needed from Bellingham Carts (http://www.tidesend.com/) and have them sent to some place along your way down. If you call ahead to a marina I am sure they would accept the delivery.
Just an idea.
