I'm finally getting around to tackling some of the wet core on our boat. I removed the top layer of fiberglass from the cabintop, about 3' x 6' and have the new core fitted and am ready to epoxy the whole thing back together. I don't believe I have the ability to match the molded nonskid, and there are lots of spider cracks anyway, so my plan is to sand things to fair, apply a couple coats of interprotect to level what's left of the molded nonskid, then apply a new nonskid - Awlgrip, Kiwigrip or?? I've seen so many poorly done jobs where the texture is blotchy, which I'd really like not to do. I am also resigned to doing these repairs in sections over a few winters, so I'd like something repeatable and that has good likelyhood of being available for a while. Fortunately my nonskid areas are all broken into sections with smooth gelcoat in between so there are natural stopping points. One other considerstion would be I'd like to be able to have the product matched to our existing color so the repairs dont look so obvious. Any advice / suggestions?(nl)Thanks!(nl)Scott
