nonskid--Interlux Interdeck
In Response To: Need nonskid advice ()

Scott, like Charlie, we decided to use Interdeck. It is a one part polyurathaine and has held up for a little over five years. We decided on one part for repair reasons--that is, if a chip or something happens underway, we could simply give the area a light sanding and add paint. We thought that the two part stuff, admitedly tougher, would be more difficult to repair. We were cruising at the time. I don't know, in retrospect, I sometimes think I would use the two part now if for nothing else its durability. Over all, though, we are pleased with interdeck and would use it again. We always add some non-skid compound to it as, to our thinking, it could use a little more grit. Good luck--Oh yes, properly applied, the stuff looks good.
