That said, I have learned to live with it. Access is thru a port cut out of the quarter berth which isn't quite as bad as straddling the engine would be.(nl)I like Ron's idea of carrying a complete bolt-on spare. I just received the Speed Seal, but won't install it until this winter. I'm pretty sure the SW problem I was having this year (I had to start the engine a few times before getting SW flowing) is due to an air leak in the paper gasket or face plate.
