Yanmar makes a huge line of tractor and equipment engines...
In Response To: I didn't know Yanmar made tractor engines... ()
but their marine engines were designed specifically for boats. Kubota, on the other hand, was designed to be a tractor engine - nothing wrong with that - kubota is making a name for itself in both tractors and marine. I've recommended them to several people. I know Yanmar and Cummins best so that's what I go with.
