right now it's coming almost right over our house

I've seen a lot of boats heading to port. Lots of hurricane holes around here. Some local boats here are being hauled, others are stripped in their slips. IF the forecasts stand as they are now, the storm will come ashore on the Delaware coast. Could be VERY bad news for the Delaware and probably the NJ coasts and Delaware Bay but better news for the Chesapeake because most likely water would be blown south. A lot of transient boats, including some friends of ours headed south a week or two ago. As of a couple of days ago our friends were in Wilmington, NC but I just found out that they moved south to Myrtle Beach yesterday or the day before.

Just got a recorded message call from our power company alerting us to the storm possibilities. We're mostly prepped. We got additional gas for the generator today, our boat came out last weekend and it's almost stripped. Need to pull the travel trailer out from under the trees and fill its water tank. Same drill as for Irene last year.
