With NE, North, NW, and then West winds it is likely that there won't be the kind of high tides that we get with a South wind blocking up the Chesapeake Bay at its mouth, and then having more rain added.
Right now, the center of the storm is supposed to pass just over or North us all. It could be sustained winds of over 50 knots or more.
That would be pretty rough, main cause a lot trees to go down, roofs to lose shingles, and power to be interupted -- but it could be worse if that storm had come-up the Bay.
In the case of the Delaware Bay, that will be a different case with this track. Philadelphia and the Delaware River Valley will be a mess.
There will be a lot of flotsam next weekend -- like trees, crude, and the like...
Not a good way to begin November.
