Hauling here has been delayed.

Sandy rather messed up the yard here in New London. A lot of volunteer labor did a lot to clean things up this past weekend. Separate the 'save' from the junk - junk into the dumpster. Wives also pulled together to feed the crew fine hot lunches. Good feeling of community effort. All in all, the marina probably came out ahead with the amount of saved planks, timbers, and blocking material. The three sailboats that fell over still need a crane to put them back in the water while we repair the cradles. Still a dozen boats to haul, including mine. But, weather has been so nice... Naah.
Did a good chunk of the winterizing today. Engine oil change, anti-freeze into the water system, non-freeze galley items home, etc. About the only things not done are engine stuff (drain strainer and HX, do after haul) and the head. Should probably remove the batteries too. Bring home, charge, test capacity - replace as needed. The house bank (2 of group 31) is fresh this year, but the engine battery needs a check.
