I'm still in the water....
In Response To: I lost a Volvo reduction gear during a fast freeze up.

() so even though it dropped to 24F last night my engine was still at 44F this morning. Water temp coming out of the tanks was 46F.... When you're in the water the air temp matters a little less than when on the hard especially if the water is warmer than the air. Moved the boat off the dock today and back onto a mooring for the Nor' Easter.......
