Will it cure underneath the paint or is that just a crazy idea?
I used a couple of different pots, the latest to build a layer over a sticky surface and this last one is just barely tacky; It's a mess and there's no warm weather in sight. I had to remove it from the garage as the fumes started to get to everyone.
You know that nagging feeling that as you're doing something, it's just not going to turn out right? I knew damn well it wasn't warm enough but forged ahead anyway. The only good thing is if I had to screw up a project, this is the one to mess up. I didn't let my grandson touch this part because of the fumes and now I'll explain to him what I did wrong and why we probably have to wait until spring to start cleaning it up then he can finally start painting it.
