I have both trident and shields a-1 fuel line and a variety of hose barbs. I go through this every time I need to install one. I did get one end of the one I am working on today on after getting it almost too hot to touch. The other end will be more challenging because it is in a harder to reach and to heat place. Of course it needs to be heated slowly to get it heated clear through without melting the outside or damaging something around it. No fun while standing on your head in 40 deg temps.

I thought we were supposed to develop more patience as we got older.
