Well, I didn't really like - or get - his sense of humor, I thought the author was too pretentious (maybe he's not in real life, but
that's the way it read to me), and I didn't like the structure of the book. Frankly, I thought the book was just plain boring -
something I rarely say about books which are cruising narratives. I'm not sure why or how he got it published....
