We actually had a potential new member to our club with a Gulfstar 44. The powerboaters on the Board were clueless what that meant and were anxious to have the couple as new members. I would have loved to tour the boat, but based on my recommendations we turned them down. The small details of the boat weight exceeding our travelift capacity and the boat draft exceeding our current water depth by a foot escaped the powerboaters completely. Seemed pretty obvious to me, to them not so much.
I wonder if Mr. Perry knows how many Islander 28's were produced? Supposedly the highest hull number found was 415, we have 416.
