Now finished, though not in this pic, the assembly sits bolted onto two stringers epoxied to the sole. The assembly is removable for work or should the need arise to get my chunky ass into the forepeak for some reason.

Holes in the bottom of the bucket facilitate drainage to the sponging area from whence I haul the sponge outside and wring it out. Or so I report without actual trials. Hey, it's an experimental boat, right? Someday I'll be finished....someday....
