I've had mine a long time too

I've changed the auger drive belt once, and had to replace a control cable that connects the squeeze handle (on the handlebar) to the linkage behind the drive housing where the control interlock is. I also had to change the fuel cut-off valve due to a leaky seal inside the valve that let gas drip. I change the oil every year or two (if I feel like it and it looks a little darkened) and make sure I run the carb dry after each snowfall.

The Tecumseh Snow King is a great engine. Wish it was quieter though. (I insert those soft disposable ear plugs before I start it up.)
